We all know about climate change and we all know that we need to reduce our greenhouse gas emissions, but where should we start? What things can we do NOW that will have the biggest impact? Our free public forum will help answer these important questions and motivate you to 'do your bit' to reduce your carbon footprint.
Lish Fejer, host of the ABC show 'Carbon Cops', and Lisa Corduff from 'Making the Switch' will give you all the practical advice and tips you need to reduce your greenhouse gas emissions at home and in your everyday life. Learn how to take responsibility and limit your contribution to climate change.
Lish and Lisa have been researching and educating people about practical solutions to climate for over a year. They will not only inform you of things you can do, but motivate you to do them.
If you’re confused by all the information out there and don't know where to start, or if you have already changed your light globes and switched to green energy, but don't know what to do next, then this forum is for you. Come along and bring your family or housemates.
When: Monday 22 October, 6.30pm to 8pm
Where: Richmond Town Hall.
Cost: Entry by gold coin donation. Bring your own cup for hot and cold drinks. Light refreshments will be provided. There will be door prizes of the Lonely Planet book 'Code Green'.
This public forum has been organised by Friends of the Earth and Beyond Zero Emissions, and is supported by the City of Yarra.
